With more than 65 new routes launched this year — including more than 25 from

Chicago: Recently named one of

Best Places to go in 2026, there’s no shortage of activities for all kinds of
travelers in the Windy City. Between special events, storied museums, iconic
landmarks and deep-dish pizza, a visit to Chicago can satisfy almost any
travel desire. American offers nonstop flights to ORD from more than 160
destinations.
Vero Beach, Florida: Located on the Atlantic coast, Vero
Beach is one of the more off-the-beaten-path destinations. Travelers can
unwind on the beach, play a round of golf or enjoy some watersport activities.
American’s nonstop flights to Vero Beach (VRB) will start Feb. 12, 2026.
Bimini, Bahamas: American’s service to Bimini (BIM) will
start Feb. 14, 2026. The options are near endless for travelers looking to get
the most of an island vacation between staying at beachfront resorts,
open-water excursions to see dolphins and big-game fishing.
Prague: With landmarks like the famous astronomical clock and
the Prague Castle, travelers will come back with memories and photographs
galore. After hitting all the sights in the day, an evening stroll across the
Charles Bridge will give another perspective to this dynamic city. American’s
summer service to Prague (PRG) will start May 21, 2026.
Budapest, Hungary: The capital of Hungary along the River
Danube is a must-see European city. Travelers can mix and match their trips to
take in the sights like the Parliament Building, Buda Castle or Fisherman’s
Bastion and then relax and soak in one of the city’s famous thermal baths.
American is the only U.S. airline flying to Budapest (BUD), and flights will
start May 21, 2026.
Auckland, New Zealand: The “City of Sails” offers travelers a
chance to indulge themselves in rich culture, fresh local cuisine and a city
that offers access to a little bit of everything from iconic film sets to the
spectacular black sand beach at Piha. American offers seasonal flights to
Auckland (AKL) from Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) and Los Angeles (LAX). Starting
Jan. 5, 2026, flights from DFW will feature Flagship Suite® seats on board
Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
Los Cabos, Mexico: Get ready to snap a picture of the famous
rock arches in the Pacific Ocean. Known as a great destination for exploring
marine life or settling into resorts, Los Cabos was recently named one of the
Best Beach Towns for 2026 by
Good Housekeeping. American offers year-round flights to Los Cabos (SJD), making it easy for
travelers to trade snowy forecasts for sun.
